Movies: My Ten Favourite Movies of 2015 (5-1)

So here we go the top 5 of my 10 list for 2015 it wasn't as hard as I thought would be to create the list. There was a late addition which is no flipping surprise there haha, so let's get this thing rolling and get to numero uno!! And there is a movie on the list that has a performance worthy of an Oscar nomination.
5. Inside Out

When it comes to movie trilogies if you look past Star Wars 4,5 and 6, it's fair to say Pixar gave us one of the best collection of movies in Toy Story. Fast forward to 2015 and Pixar are still knocking it out of the park by making animated movies that still entertain adults and children alike. This movie was all about the emotions we as humans experience but this all takes place with a child. I always check out Pixar movies and this one as bright and colourful and funny it is, there are moments which are really sad and really pulls on those emotional strings. So if you're a superthug don't watch this in front of your boys because they will question your manhood at certain scenes.
4. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron/Star Wars: The Force Awakens

2012's The Avengers for me is the best superhero movie ever made. Yes I know it was a super team movie so it's kind of un-fair but to have Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk all in one movie is no easy feat. So the anticipation for the sequel was high to see how they could top such a near perfect movie. No they didn't top the first and they really couldn't to be fair but this movie was pretty bad ass. It was fun seeing the gang back together again while learning how to control Hulk's rage. There was a ridiculous action scene which took place in Africa where Iron Man and Hulk bump heads, while trying to defeat the blood thirsty A.I. Ultron which Tony made to allow the Avengers to work less but goes total pear shape.

We have a new Star Wars movie that will help erase the prequels from your memory. So to keep it short and sweet thank you George Lucas, JJ Abrams and Disney for giving us the opportunity to have all the things that we love about SW returned to us in 2015. This movie is smashing box office records left right and centre. And is understandable because this is a return to form for the franchise many of us love. Holy fuck a brother is one of the leading actors in this cult classic franchise, what is the world coming to? Oh yeah that's right the boy can act and deserves to be part of this world and I'm due to go watch this movie again o satisfy my enjoyment of the movie. The Force Awakens episode VII is easily an 8 out of 10 movie even with THAT moment.
3. Kingsman: The Secret Service

Bond didn't become Bond just like that, he had to have some training from young to make him the slick smooth spy we all know. Ladies and gentlemen I give you Kingsman, it's like a movie showing how a young diamond in the dirt kid was trained to become Bond. Colin Firth who plays the Obi-Wan Kenobi to Taron Egerton's Anakin but just doesn't turn into a little shit like Anakin did. Takes him under his guidance to turn him into the agent he believes him to be. While training this kid from the estate also has to deal with this tech maniac played by uncle Samuel Mutherfucking L. Jackson. Mission Impossible:Rogue Nation and The Avengers:Age Of Ultron are the only movies I can think of that give The Kingsman a run for it's money for the best action sequence this year. All I will say is "The Church"..........
2. Straight Outta Compton

Ok I went to this movie twice which means I liked it a whole lot. Straight Outta Compton is everything it says on the tin, it's a biopic about the world's most dangerous crew. This movie gives alot of insight into what made this crew so immortal in the world of hip hop culture and music. Due to the huge success of this movie we may get more hip hop biopics with Tupac next one on the way. My main problem with this movie which I enjoyed alot was that Dr.Dre came across as a damn superhero, but the stars of this movie are Eazy E and Ice Cube. Jason Mitchell who plays the role of Eazy E deserves to get an Oscar nomination for his performance which was just classic.
1. Dope

I thought this was going to be some stereotypical urban movie just so the hip hop culture can say "oh we had two this year". But this movie was so much more than I expected and couldn't have enjoyed it more. This shit was super funny but had heart and also shows that the most fun you can have is being you. Three neighbourhood friends trapped in the 90's era of hip hop enjoy playing in their band and being cool nerds. They get caught up in a situation which keeps them on their feet while running into more and more obstacles while trying to resolve the original problem. It's got a sick selection of music throughout the movie and the way it ends is a nice twist to the normal played out movie formula.
